PROFITABLE SUSTAINABILITY
Once secondary sources are accounted for, food is by far the largest source of carbon footprint
A major reason for sustainability practices not being taken include:
- Fear of new technology that is mostly unproven
- Doubtful or too small returns
- Additional work or hassle
- Lack of understanding of processes and funding options
By progressively demonstrating the value of these practices, we can reduce objections to their adoption.
We are collaborating with several international and educational institutions to ensure these much-needed technologies and practices are rigorously tested and scalable. Our efforts to promote sustainability and support small entrepreneurs include the following initiatives:
- Providing local suppliers a level playing field compared to large corporations. We are contributing to a more sustainable economy by supporting local supply chains.
- Introducing and offering a testing platform for new technologies with little to no risk, enabling small entrepreneurs to experiment with innovative solutions
